Agentcard
Lets agents pay at real online checkouts, with the card holder approving each purchase by passkey
Agentcard gives an agent a way to pay at online checkouts without holding a card number. Its docs describe two products: Vault, which "stores your user’s credit cards so you can use them safely with an agent", and Issuing, which creates new one-time or multi-use virtual cards. In the Vault flow the agent fills the checkout with a placeholder card, the SDK pauses the payment request, and the user gets an approval link: "They open it on their own device, see the merchant and the amount you passed, and confirm with fingerprint or face unlock". An unanswered request expires after 15 minutes, and the docs state: "Your agent never sees the card number, and neither does Agentcard." Apps can ask a user once for auto-approval within set conditions, and the docs warn: "Agentcard pays without asking them and never checks that your app asked." On 27 October 2026 Agentcard said "every Polar checkout accepts payments from AI agents through Agentcard" and that Polar "turned agentic checkouts on for every seller on 26 October". Agentcard is backed by Y Combinator.

Key Features
Passkey approval per purchase
The user sees the merchant and amount on their own device and approves with a passkey or master password; unapproved requests expire after 15 minutes.
Vault
Stores users' own cards, encrypted on the device; the agent submits a placeholder card and the real card goes from the user's device to the payment processor.
