Microsoft also says MAI-Cyber-1-Flash inside MDASH reaches 96% on CyberGym and delivers nearly 50% cost savings versus the current market configuration. Project Perception enters public preview on August 3, 2026.

Why This Capability Signal Is Different

Most AI capability discussions still stop at model benchmarks. Microsoft is presenting a stronger standard: can the system continuously perceive a live environment, build enough context to reason economically, and push into action without losing control?

That is closer to what zero-human companies actually need. Capability is not just whether the model can solve one hard task. It is whether the whole operating system around the model can keep working under real constraints.
